What is the most expensive supercar as of 2009? is it the Lamborghini Reventon or Bugatti Veyron?

I am quite confuse about this. we almost had a fight with my friend regarding this two supercars. because in silicon valley auto group here in calif. the reventon is sold to about US$2.5million.. in some websites the price of the veyron is about $1.7million and reventon is $1.6million. Please answer it accurately. thanks.

They both cost about 1.4 million, but getting them off the lot you need to spend much more

when the reventon came out, it was sold at 787,250 euros which is 1,570,103 USD, there were 21 made but only 20 of them were sold, the last one is in the Lamborghini museum, outside bologna. As for the Veyron, two hundred are known to have been built and delivered since production began. There was supposed to be a total of 300 built. All the Veyron editions contribute to the 200 being built (stopped built in late 2008). The editions that are contributing are the Veyron, Veyron 16.4, Pur Sang, Hermes Edition, Sang Noir, Targa, Vincero, and the Bleu Centenaire. It will be replaced with the Grand Sport, which is essentially a Veyron Convertible. The most expensive Veyron sold was 2.9 million, so the Reventon won that battle. =)
